The Power of the Holy Spirit
Come explore with us!!

When Jesus promised the power of the Holy Spirit, did His followers understand the power they would receive to share God’s story with the whole world?

On the day of the Holy Spirit’s arrival, those gathered experienced tongues like fire, a sound like rushing wind, and a cacophony of languages. Jesus’ disciples would never be the same. That’s good! Because they needed to be empowered to share the gospel with boldness and courage. They would never be alone. From that day, they would have a helper, a guide, and an advocate to take them all the places they need to go.

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you. Then you will tell people about me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria. And you will even tell other people about me from one end of the earth to the other.

—Acts 1:8 (NIrV)

Jesus promises the Holy Spirit and then delivers. His Spirit is our source of strength to persevere in the face of spiritual attacks. He is there for anyone who believes.

Our program is called God Venture Kids because we believe that serving Christ sets kids on a path of adventure with Jesus.

We believe that children are deeply loved by Jesus and that teaching them is one of the most important parts of our ministry. Kids are the future of the church; they will be the parents,  pastors, missionaries, volunteers, and evangelists of the future. So teaching them is of the utmost importance. Proverbs 22:6 says, "Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old, he will not depart from it." With the teachings of the world so rapidly misleading both children and adults, it is our mission as a church to show kids the truth. The truth is that there is a God who loves them and who has a plan for their lives.
